MRS. NANNY WAKEFIELD

Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Nanny C. Wakefield, 86, of Nevada, who died Friday night.

Mrs. Wakefield was born on Dec. 2, 1885, at Corpus Christi, Tex., to Dr. and Mrs. Robert Jones. She married Sam Wakefield of Gilbert in 1909 and lived in Story County. She had spent the last five years in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Young, of Nevada.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Laura Van Bree of San Banito, Tex., Mrs. Boyd Young of Nevada and Mrs. Josephine Dougherty of Kansas City, Kan., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937

Adams Funeral Home in Ames is handling arrangements, with burial to be in the Gilbert Cemetery.
