AREA DEATHS

MRS. LLOYD CHILD

Mrs. Lloyd Child, 73, of 734 10th Street, Nevada, died Sunday morning at the Story County Hospital where she had been for the past three days after suffering a stroke.

a resident of Oak Park Manor for the past two months, she was born April 20, 1899, in Polk County to Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Cutter. She had lived in Nevada since 1923.

She married Lloyd Child on April 28, 1924, in Adel and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Lloyd, two daughters Mrs. Barbara McCord of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Marjorie Tschirgi in Reinbeck, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother George Dutter of Kansas City, Mo., a sister Mrs. Abigail Shaddock of Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held from St. Patrick's Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father Franz Lohberg officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Scripture service will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
