AREA DEATHS

Ralph Severson

Ralph Severson, age 69, a resident of 1127 7th Street, Nevada, died Friday morning at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. He had been a patient there for about 11 days.

A resident of Nevada for 25 years, he had also lived in Cambridge for 17 years before moving to Nevada.

Born Dec. 30, 1902, to Oscar and Anna Kathryn Jennings Severson, he was married to Mable Purvis in Fort Dodge November 23, 1930.

Survivors include his wife Mable, two daughters Mrs. Harriet Bullock of Nevada and Mrs. Lillian Johnson of Terrill, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also three sisters, Mrs. Robert Lauer of Walker, Minn., Mrs. Charles R. Hon and Mrs. Carl Riddle of Ball Club, Minn.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be held from Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell on Monday at 2 p.m. with burial in Cambridge Cemetery.
