DEATHS

Mrs. Charles Rupp

Mrs. Charles Rupp, 84, the former Mae Peterson of Slater, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Peterson, and sister of the late Archie Peterson, died Thursday, April 20, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Ridell Kelsey, in Brookfield, Ill. after a brief illness.

She was born in Slater Nov. 27, 1887.

Funeral services were held at the Norris Funeral Home in West Chicago. Rev. Ridell Kelsey officiated at the services and interment was in the West Chicago Cemetery.

Surviving are three sons, Charles Rupp, Jr. of LaGrange, Ill., Wilbur and Paul Rupp of West Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Ridell Kelsey of Brookfield, Ill. and Mrs. Lois Raebeck of Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.; brother Van Peterson, of Sacramento, Calif., and ten grandchildren.

Her husband, a daughter, brothers, Henry and Archie, and sisters Esther and Blanche, preceded her in death.

Relatives attending the funeral from this area were Mrs. Arnold Englman, Mrs. Vern L. Schlaser, Mrs. Archie Peterson and Mrs. Jean Embree and son Paul.
