DEATHS

Mrs. Nellie Williams

Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Williams were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Riis Funeral home in Slater. Rev. Ralph Hindman, pastor of the Slater United Methodist Church, officiated reading Scriptures and basing his sermon on Psalm 90:12.

Mrs. Herb Belz, accompanied by organist Mrs. Paul Hall, sang "When I Come to the End of the Road."

Pallbearers were Leo Wilson, Hubert Twit, Everett Twit, Rodney Krause, William Krause and David Wilson. Interment was in the Slater Municipal Cemetery.

Nellie Irene Danielson was born at Hendricks, Minn. on April 24, 1888 and died Sunday April 30, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

She married Hollis Williams on May 6, 1930 at Winnifred, Mont. Her husband did in August 1959. She made her home in Winnifred until the fall of 1967. Because of ill health, she came to live in Slater with her sister, Mrs. Elsie Twit. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

In addition to her sister, Mrs. Twit, she is survived by a brother, Ralph Danielson of Phoenix, Ariz., three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Joyce) Hofland, Esko, Minn., Mrs. Robert (Ione) Raforth, Portland, Ore. and Mrs. Harold (Doris) Nuese, Hendricks, Minn. and also step brothers and sister Perry Danielson of Minneapolis, Doyle Danielson of Hawaii and Mrs. A. O. Soderholm of Woodburn, Ore. and many other relatives and friends.

Local friends will remember Mrs. Williams as a kind, considerate and understanding friend and neighbor.

Attending the services from a distance were Glenn ogle of New Virginia, Roy Ogle and Mrs. Agnes Ritchie of Indianola and Mr. and Mrs. Reno Danielson of Minneapolis.
