Funeral services On Monday in McBurg For Elmer Caltvedt

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21 in the Lutheran Church in McCallsburg for Elmer (Ted) Caltvedt, 59, of Des Moines. He died Saturday, March 19 in the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines after being hospitalized for over a year.

Pallbearers were Martin Chentland, Otis Chentland, Ed Chentland, Otis Sorem, Elmer Sandvick and Orval Ellingson. Burial was in the Warren Twp. Cemetery.

He is survived by his step mother, Mrs. Martha Caltvedt of McCallsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Lulu) Ausdal, Marshalltown, Mrs. Harold (Vernes) Elliott, Minneapolis, Minn., two brothers, George of Waterloo and Selmer of Gary, Indiana. Also two half sisters, Mrs. Roy Severson, Jewell, Mrs. Thelma Stone, Nevada; two half brothers, John of McCallsburg and Leonard of McKenny, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
