JOHN D. CALTVEDT

John D. Caltvedt, 56, of McCallsburg, died at his home March 1, 1961 of cancer, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Jun 18, 1924, the son of Tygo and Martha Caltvedt.

Mr. Caltvedt is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Claudia Johnson of Des Moines and Jacki Meiman of McCallsburg; four grandchildren; three sisters, Emma Severson of Jewell, Thelma Stone of Nevada and LuLu Ausdale of Marshalltown; and two brothers, Leonard of McKinney, Tex. and Selmer of Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Chruch, McCallsburg.

Friends may call at the Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, from noon Tuesday till time of service.
