THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 27, 1910, page 1. "DEATH OF JOHN MCCLELLAND - John McClelland, a former resident of this vicinity, and well known by our older citizens, died at his home in Arkansas, Sunday morning, October 23d. He had been here recently for a visit with his brother-in-law, Samuel McCauley, returning to his home only two weeks ago, at the time being in good health. No particulars regarding his illness or death have been received. Andrew McCauley left for Arkansas, Sunday morning in response to the telegram notifying him of Mr. McClelland's death."
