THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, October 24, 1957, page 4, column 4. "GEO. W. HOPPER - Funeral services for Geo. W. Hopper, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Iva Lou Fondry at Randolph, Wis., Oct. 13, 1957, were held at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, Iowa, with Rev. Geo. Yetter, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Geo. W. Hopper, son of Thomas and Clar __ (ies) Hopper, was born Nov. 2, 1885 at Homansville, Mo. He was married to Ruth Bennethum Feb. _7 19_. He is survived by four children, Mrs. Iva Lou Fondry, Randolph, Wis., Mrs. __ Hartman, Shannon, Ill., Mrs. Flossie Pierce, Nevada, Iowa, and Raymond Hopper, Maxwell, Ia., also four brothers, one sister, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Music was furnished by Madeline __. The floral offerings were taken care of by Helen Vincent and __ Moody. Casket Bearers were Orrie Jones, Henry Stowe, Fred Kahler, Glen Dor__, C. E. Pierce and Rollie Rumbaugh. Interment in Iowa Center Cemetery."
