THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, November 2, 1933, page 1, column 4. "Joseph Higbee received a telegram Thursday from Walworth, Wis., that his only brother, who had lived at that place for about fifty years, had died Thursday morning. Mr. Higbee was unable to go to Walworth on account of poor health."
