Marshall Allen, 67, Dies In Hospital

Marshall H. Allen, Route 2, Ames, died Friday about 3 p.m. in the Mary Greeley Hospital at the age 67 years.

He was born October 21, 1898 and followed dairying for much of his life on a farm near Ames. Prior to that, he farmed near Grand Junction.

He was married to Miss Irene Hall on October 21, 1924, and he is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Julia Johnson, Route 2, Nevada, and one son, Robert, of Slater.

There are six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Etta Hainline of Illinois and Mrs. Jess Faulkner, of Maxwell. His parents, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the Stevens Memorial Chapel Ames, with Rev. E.E. Peters officiating. Interment in the Story Memorial Gardens.
