MRS. EMMA PARISH

CAMBRIDGE--Funeral services for Mrs. Emma O. Stenberg Parish, a former Cambridge resident who died very suddenly on Dec. 12 at a hospital in Seattle, Wash., were held from the Forkners Funeral Home where with burial in Evergreen cemetery. She had reached the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Parish was born in Sweden and came to this country in 1879 and live in Iowa for many years.

After her husband, Elmer H. Parish, retired as a rural mail carrier out of Cambridge, they moved to Los Angeles, Calif. and in 1940 moved to Seattle, Wash., which has since been their home.

They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last August.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer, three sons, Neil R. and Lester G., both of Seattle and Kenneth C. of Elmhurst, Ill., a brother, Herman Stenberg of Centerville, Iowa and three grandchildren.
