Mrs. Anice Kuhn Dies here, Was 79

NEVADA--Mrs. Anice Kuhn, 79, 1807 Eighth street, died at the Story County Hospital at 8:30 Friday night. She had been admitted earlier in the day. Death was due to cancer.

The body will remain a the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of service at the Nevada Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. David Ash officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

A resident of Story county for 58 yeas, the deceased was born in Lawrence, Ind., July 21, 1878. She was married to James Oscar Kuhn Feb. 19, 1899, in Lawrence, Ind. Mr. Kuhn died in 1945.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth V. Kuhn, Newton and Henry W. Kuhn, Nevada and four daughters, Mrs. Verna Parks, Nevada, Mrs. Gladys Duncan, Eldora, Mrs. Faye Dorsey, Ames, and Marie Kuhn of Nevada. Also surviving her are 22 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lena Newhouse and Mrs. Elsie Baughman of Lawrence, Ind.

Mrs. Kuhn was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Daughters of Union Veterans and the Rebekah Lodge.
