MAE F. BOWERS

Mae F. Bowers, 88, of Maxwell, who had recently been living at Oak Park Manor, Nevada, died Saturday, November 7, 1981 at Story County Hospital.

She was born Feb. 10, 1893 in Aldrich, Mo., the daughter of Granville and Margaret McGuire Looney.

Mrs. Bowers is survived by a son, Harold Kirkland of Portland, Ore., seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister, Lou Reagan, and a brother, Clint Looney. She was preceded in death by two sons, Virgil and Hayes.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 1:30 p. m. at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell. Burial will follow in the Peoria Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of service.
