FORMER ROLAND WOMAN DEAD

What the People of Roland and Vicinity Are Doing.

Roland, July 11 The community was saddened Monday evening when it was learned that Mrs. Sigurd Olson of Chicago was dead, having passed away at a hospital there at seven thirty that evening. Although it was known that she had been in poor health for the past months her death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends here. Mrs. Olson was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Prescott of this place and was born in Hardin county. She moved with her parents here about seven years ago. Three years ago she was married to Sigurd Olson and for the past two years they have made their home in Chicago. The body was brought back here for interment. Besides her husband, Sigurd Olson, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Prescott of Roland, one brother, Joe Prescott of Taopi, Minn., seven sisters, Mrs. Martin Vallem near Garden City, Mrs. E. J. Nelson of Randall, Mrs. E. J. Britson of Northwood, Mrs. Roy Charlson, Mrs. R. Hatteberg of north of town, Mrs. J. A. Knudtson and Josie Prescott of Roland. The family have the sympathy of community in their bereavement.
