PASSING OF MRS. JOHN TANDY

Story City Woman Passed Away at Story City Hospital.

Story City, Feb. 25--Mrs. John Tandy was born Dec. 1, 1891 in Boone county and died Feb. 18, 1924 at the local hospital. She suffered from an attack of pneumonia and pleurisy, which proved to be too much for her. Sh was born and raised near Mackey. In December 1909 she was married to John Tandy. Mrs. Tandy leaves to mourn her death her husband, John Tandy and five children, Ronald, Lillian, Geneva, Lloyd and Otto also a mother, Mrs. W. Manion, a sister, Maggie Manion, two half brothers, Clyde and Morgan Tasty [should be Thiste.] The funeral services were held at the Grace church Feb. 20, at 2 o'clock. Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery.
