From Nevada Representative February 9, 1912 (page 5)

Frank Hutchison of Gilbert and Ed Hutchison of Ontario were called to Long Beach, California Saturday, by dispatches to their father, Mr. John Hutchison. The first dispatch said their father was very ill, and the brothers made ready to take the next train; but before they had left the C. N. W. station a second dispatch announced death. In accordance with request of the deceased, his remains will rest in California. Mrs. Hutchison died several years ago while the family home was at Zenorsville and her burial was at Ames. Mr. John Hutchison and his brother James were active coal operators at Zenorsville for a long time until the coal was exhausted. About seven years ago Mr. Hutchison and two of the younger daughters Mary and Maggie went to Los Angeles, California, bought property and made their home there. Mary is married and Maggie has been keeping house for her father. There is left besides these daughters, Edward of Ontario, Frank of Gilbert, John and Brice, Mrs. Jean Engstrom of Ogden and Mrs. E. Rainbolt of Zenorsville.
