--Little Marie Taylor, aged six years, died at the home of her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Larson, east of town [Nevada] Saturday, and funeral service was conducted Monday by Rev. Hummon.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Laura Marie Larson was the daughter of Albert Taylor and Hannah Larson. The father, Albert, died 18 November 1900 and the mother, Hannah, died 27 July 1898. Thus the child lived with her maternal grandparents, John/Jens Larson and Maren/Mary (Nelson) Larson. She is listed in the 1900 Story County, Iowa census as L. M. Taylor living with her grandparents, the Larsons.
