OLESON FUNERAL YESTERDAY.

Deceased of Popular Slater Woman Brings Grief.

Special to the Journal.
Slater, Oct. 26--The last sad rites over the remains of Mrs. Peter Oleson were held at the Lincoln church Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Holman gave an impressive discourse in Norwegian and Rev. Wee gave one in English. The Slater high school glee club furnished appropriate music which was well rendered.

The deceased was born in the little town of Sheldahl on April 7, 1876. A few years later, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jondahl, moved to Slater, where Miss Erbella grew to womanhood and where she resided at the time of her death, which occurred on Sunday morning at 7:10.

She was married on Nov. 35, 1896 to Peter Oleson. One daughter was born to this union. She is mourned by her father and mother, a faithful husband, a daughter and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were largely attended, at both the house and the church. Her remains were laid to rest in the local cemetery. Several beautiful floral pieces were given by the ladies of the Cemetery association, the carpenter crew, of which her husband and father are members, and the ninth grade of the local school of which her daughter Blanche is a member.

Mrs. Oleson was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, she being the last child of Mr. and Mrs. Jondahl, who have the sincerest sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
