Funeral Services Held at Ottumwa For Rev. C. H. Chader

Slater, March 27--Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Chader and son, M. B. Chader, attended the funeral services of the former's brother, Rev. C. Henry Chader of Fremont, which were held Sunday afternoon at the Willard Street Methodist church in Ottumwa. The services were in charge of Rev. C. R. Reed assisted by Rev. W. F. Lister and Rev. John L. Alexander. The pall bearers were Rev. John B. Johnson, Rev. W. R. Keesey, Rev. Merton Wyatt, Rev. E. K. Parrott, Rev. J. E. Matheny and Rev. Lawrence Hight.

Burial was made in the Leando cemetery at Douds, Iowa. Rev. C. H. Chader was born near Madrid, August 29, 1872 and died at his home at Fremont, March 20th, 1942. He had been ill for several months. His parents were John and Christine Chader who died a number of years ago.

He is survived by his wife and three children, one son, Earl Chader of Douds, two daughters, Mrs. Vera Lewis of Mankato, Minnesota, and Alpha, at home; also a sister, Mrs. Fred Croft of Sheldahl and one brother, A. A. Chader of Slater. Rev. Chader was well known here.
