Raymond Schuler, 28, Story County farmer, died of pneumonia at his home near Zearing early Wednesday morning. He had been in ill health for some time.

Mr Schuler was born in Story county, near Zearing, May 1, 1913, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schuler of Zearing. He spent his early boyhood in the vicinity of State Center.

He married Miss Jeannette Brekke of Fernald in 1938. He was a member of the Methodist church of Nevada. Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, one brother, Ernie of Colo, and two sisters, Mrs. Meyer Brekke of Maxwell and Lavonne at home.

Funeral services will be held at the Lilly Funeral Home at 1:30 pm and at the Methodist Church in Nevada at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 22. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery in State Center.
