McCallsburg Baby Laid To Rest Friday P.M.

Funeral services were held for Jeanne Severtson in the McCallsburg Lutheran church Friday Aug. 1, at two o'clok with Pastor H. N. Bakke in charge an Mrs. J. O. Helland at the piano.

Mrs. Lawrence Faush and her daughter Jeanne of Alleman accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Richard Sydness from Slater sang two duets, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer."

The casket bearers were four of Jeanne's uncles, Orville Olson, Ernest Olson, Marion Severtson and Harold Severtson.

The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Millard Helland and Mrs. Arnold Christiansen. Memorial gifts were mostly to the Bethany church building fun and Beloit children home in Ames.

Burial was made in the McCallsburg cemetery.

Jeanne Severtson

Jeanne Beth Severtson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joris Severtson was born Feb. 2, 1951 at McCallsburg and died July 29, 1952 at the Blank Memorial hospital, Des Moines after a brief illness.

She leaves to mourn her departure her parents, two brothers Wayne and Jerald and two sisters Joan and Susan.
