The cause of her death was cancer of the stomach and liver. The disease was first noticed some five years since, and though its effects were felt and known at the time, yet, it was only during the past two years principally that her decline in health was apparent to herself, her family and her friends. A large congregation was in attendance, and interment was made in the cemetery at above place. The husband who has been thus bereaved, after forty-nine years of companionship, has the hearty sympathy of many friends."
