FORMER ROLAND RESIDENT DEAD
Ingebrit Chelsvig passed away at the H. T. Asbe home a Kanawha on Monday, March 24, from old age. The deceased was born in Norway about 84 years ago, coming to this country in his younger days. He lived near Roland most of the time after his arrival in this country, but lager on moved into town, where he and his wife lived until her death about four years ago, when he went to Kanawha to make his home with his sister, Mrs. Asbe. He leaves one brother, Tjerand Chelsvig of this place, and three sisters, Mesdames H. T. Asbe, Anna Orland and Ingeborg Olson all of Kanawha, to mourn his death.
The remains will be taken here, where funeral services will be held at Salem Lutheran church at eleven o'clock on Friday forenoon, the funeral sermon to be preached by Rev. J. N. Sandven after which the remains will be interred beside his wife. The Record extends sympathy to the sorrowing ones.
