Mrs. Ernest Toot Dies In Minnesota

WELLS, Minn.--Mrs. Ernest (Pearl E.) Toot, 67, of New Richland, Minn. died Monday at 6:20 in the home of her son, Marion A. Toot, 119 McArthur Drive, Albert Lea, Minn. of coronary thrombosis, where she had been convalescing after being released from the Naeve Hospital on Sunday.

Mrs. Toot was born Dec. 23, 1890, at Nevada, Iowa, the daughter of Charles E. and Carrie Toot. She was married to Ernest H. Toot at Nevada and moved with him to Alden, Minn. in March 1912. In March, 1920 they moved to a farm in Walnut Lake, Faribault county near Wells, and she remained there until her husband's death, Feb. 15, 1945. Since then she had been living with her children.

Three children survive: a daughter, Mrs. Donald Jenkins of New Richland, Minn., and two sons, Marion of Albert Lea and Wayne of Eagle Lake, Minn. She leaves seven grandchildren, three brothers, C. S. toot of Nevada, Clarence of San Gabriel, Calif. and Benjamin of Boone, and two sisters, Mrs. Al Oaks of Alhambra, Calif. and Mrs. Mary Lamm of Huntington Park, Calif.

Funeral services were held Thursday in the Methodist church in Wells, Minn. Burial was in the Rosehill cemetery.
