CHILD DROWNED IN WATER TANK

Litle Two Year Old Son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Danielson, Living Southeast of Town Drowned in Tank

This community was deeply grieved last Friday when it was learned that Luvern, the two year old son oof Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Danielson, living about five miles southeast of town had fallen into a large water tank and was drowned.

The little fellow, with his brother and father had been around the barn and had been missing only an assumingly short time, when his father went to shut off the windmill he noticed a piece of cloth in the tank but thinking nothing more about it was about to go away when on second thought he looked into the tank and found his little son dead. It is thought that he strangled when he fell into the water.

Luvern was a very bright, and lovable fellow, only two years old and his death is indeed a sad bereavement to his parents who are heart broken over his untimely death. Some years ago their oldest child was accidentally killed by a horse running over him.

The funeral was held from Bergen Church on Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. N. Sandven in the absence of their pastor Rev. Smedal, preaching the funeral sermon. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The sorrowing parents are extended the profound sympathy of the entire community.
