To this union five children were born two boys and three girls all living in this community.

The first two years of her married life was spent on a farm north of Colo. Then having purchased the farm near Collins, which remains the Etnier homestead, they moved to this vicinity, established a home in which they remained until failing health compelled them to move to the present home in Collins, where she passed away.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children Mrs. Fred Elliott, Mrs. Marie Kilker, Mrs. Elmer Janes, Fred and Harold Etnier, five grandchildren, a nephew, Ray Shearer, who was reared in the home, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She united with the Methodist church at an early age, which membership she retained until death.

She was a good wife, a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The services were largely attended, many coming from a great distance to pay their respects to one they had long known and loved.
