OBITUARIES

Edith Barnett

Edith Barnett, 85, of Grosport, Ind., died of a heart ailment March 13 in Grosport. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17, at 2 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada,, with the Rev. Roy Sanders officiating.

Barnett was born in 1904 to Asa and Nancy Banks and was a resident of Story County until the 1950's. She was married to George Fry who died in 1949, and to Bright Barnett, who died in 1969.

Survivors include three sons, Richard Fry of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert Fry of Prattville, Ala., and Larry Fry of Texas; two daughters, Barbara Laurence of Spencer, Ind., and Sharon Robertson of Grosport, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one brother, Fred Banks of Clear Lake; and two sisters, Mable Kahler of Maxwell and Hazel Godby of Phoenix, Ariz.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, one sister, six brothers and three sons.

Visitation will be a Chet Ryan Mortuary.
