Story County Deaths

BERTA SCOTT

Berta Scott, 98, of Collins, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1981 at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

She was born March 3, 1882, in rural Collins, the daughter of Franklin and Martha Millhouse. In June of 1898 she married George Boitnott. After his death, she married Ed Scott in 1942.

Mrs. Scott is survived by a son, Jos Boitnott, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Virginia Fertig of Collins and Gwen Lint of Maxwell; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was a nurse, and a charter member of the Collins Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Collins Christian Church at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. David Shaeffer and Rev. Elden Ringle officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxwell Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Cooper Funeral Home, Maxwell from 10 a.m. Tuesday.
