Final Services For Mary M. Netterfield

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Margaret Netterfield were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Cambridge United Brethren church with Rev. Gayle Geisler in charge.

Mrs. Arnold Nerness and Mrs. Gayle Geisler sang "No Disappointment in Heaven", "Rock of Ages" and "The Old Rugged Cross" with Miss Marjorie Horst at the piano.

Casket bearers were Orie Jones, Harry Stowe, Keith Munson, Leonard Harrison, John Curtis and Carl Knudson of Ames.

Obituary

Mary Margaret McCallister was born Feb. 21, 1870, and passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 16, in the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.

She came to Cambridge from Rockford, Ill., when a child and was the oldest of seven children. She had been a Cambridge resident practically all her life.

She was united in marriage to Sam W. Netterfield and to this union were born three daughters and two sons, all deceased except one daughter, Mrs. Tillie Ruble of Ames.

Survivors

Surviving, besides her daughter, are two sisters, Mrs. Nell Brown of Nevada and Mrs. Annie Brown of Emmettsburg, six grandchildren, Mable McClain, Ethel Purvis and Gladys Brown all of Ames, Margaret Searcy of Carlisle, Phoebe Babcock of Findlay, Ohio and Bud Smithart of What Cheer, Iowa, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a member of the United Brethren church in Cambridge, a kind and loving mother devoted to her home, always putting the welfare of her family first.

Burial was in the Cambridge cemetery.
