Services for Former Maxwell Man Monday
Funeral services for Frank W. Kimberley of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, were held at the Cooper-Moore Funeral home in Maxwell Monday, Nov. 27, at 10:30. The Rev. Louis Joslin, pastor of the Collins Methodist church, was in charge.
Charles Hinton of Colo sang "Crossing the Bar" accompanied by Mrs. Robert Quinn of Colo on the piano, who also played for the service.
Obituary
Born the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Kimberley of Collins on July 10, 1892, he had lived the past 35 years in Canada.
In May of this year he came back to Iowa for visit and his failing health caused his to be hospitalized most of the time; he passed away at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines Nov. 26.
Surviving Mr. Kimberley are his wife, Pearl, four brothers, John of Arlington, Va., Fred of Collins, Harold of Colo and I. M. Kimberley of Maxwell, four sisters, Ruth, Mrs. S. B. Goodenow of Colo, Mildred, Mrs. N. H. Brinkman of Colo, Minnie, Mrs. Don Maxwell, Washington and Kathryn, Mrs. J. D. Armstrong, Ames.
Funeral services will also be held in Regina, Can., with Masonic burial at Moose Jaw, Sask., Canada.
