THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 3, 1907, page 8, column 4. "Word was received here Tuesday night by relatives from Mrs. Joe Yeaton, of Guthrie Center, that her mother, Mrs. John Bentley, was dead. The remains will be brought here Thursday and the funeral be** held at the Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m."

THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, January 10, 1907, page 8, column 2. "OBITUARY - Margaret McMichael was born in Bedford, Penn., Sept. 27, 1823, was married to John P. Bentley Aug. 3, 1842. To this union was born 12 children, 3 boys and 9 girls, all having passed before her, except 3 daughters, Mrs. Samuel John, of Des Moines, Mrs. Henry Olinger, of Humboldt, Iowa and Mrs. H. N. Yeaton, of Gurthrie Center, with who she had made her home for a number of years. Her husband died April 24, 1898. She departed this life New Year's day, 1907, aged 83 years, 3 months and 5 days. She had been a consistent Christian woman from early life and united with the Church of Christ 16 years ago. The funeral was conducted from the Maxwell Church of Christ Fri. Jan 3rd at 2;30, B. H. Coonradt officiating and interment made in the Maxwell Cemetery."
