Obituary of Knudt Gaard

Knudt A. Gaard of Elmore, Minn., died at his home on January 5, 1912 after several months sickness of cancer. The deceased was born in Talge, Finno, Norway, Mary 26, 1837 and was 74 years and 7 months at his death. The funeral was held on Tuesday, January 9th, Rev. Okerland, preaching the funeral sermon.

Mr. Gaard is the father of Mrs. John K. Johnson, living three miles north of here, and upon several occasions visited friends here, so that many of the older residents here knew him.
