TWO KNUDTSON CHILDREN DEAD

Scarlet Fever Claims Two Little Children From the J. A. Knutson Home. Sympathy of Community Extended to Parents.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Knutson have had the sad experience to mourn the death of two of their children within a few days of each other. The family was quarantined for scarlet fever last Friday, three of the children being sick with the terrible malady. On Sunday, Ruby Eveline born December 13, 1910 passed away and her little body was taken to its last resting place on Monday, no public funeral being held because of the nature of the disease from which the child died. This morning, Ione Jeanette, born November 2, 1907, also passed away and her little body will be interred this afternoon. It is sad, when death enters a home and takes away the dear ones, but doubly so when the loving parents are obliged to remain at home alone and see their loved ones taken to their last resting place with no one able to extend to them the comfort and consolence that would be theirs under other circumstances. The entire community will sympathize with the stricken parents and hope that their afflictions will soon be over and that they may be able to keep their two remaining children, which the Almighty has entrusted to their loving care.
