Rites in Oregon For Isaac Yocum

Funeral services for Isaac Yocum were held from the Carroll Funeral home in Gresham, Ore., recently.

Isaac Yocum was born in Story county, near Cambridge, Dec. 25, 1861, and passed away near Gresham, Ore., on Feb. 14, 1950.

He spent his entire life in Story county with the exception of 12 years. He went to Gresham, Ore. six years ago to live with his son, Harry.

On Dec. 25, 1898, he was united in marriage to Roseanna Spurling. To this union five children were born, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Clarence Vogt of Nevada, Mrs. Wilbur Banks of Cambridge, Mrs. Earl Wilaby of Union, Harry Yocum of Gresham, Ore., and Marvin Yocum of Portland, Oregon.

His wife passed away in Cambrige on March 25, 1944.

He was one of family of eight children, all of whom preceded him in death.

Surviving are his children; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Murtnomah cemetery, near Portland, Ore.
