Aged Lady Passes Away
Mrs. John Johnson passed away at Forest City the first of the week and the remains were brought to Roland where funeral services were held yesterday at the Salem Lutheran church. The deceased is the mother of Henry Helleisen, former resident of this place. We hope to be able to give and obituary of the deceased next week.

MARSHALL COUNTY WOMAN BURIED
Respected Marshall County Lady Passed Away at Forest City. Funeral Services Held at Salem Church and Interment at Roland Cemetery
The funeral of Mrs. John O. Johnson of Quarry was held last Wednesday afternoon from Salem church, Rev. M. O. Sumstad, pastor of Bergen Lutheran church, preaching the funeral sermon in the absence of Rev. J. N. Sandven. Many friends of the bereaved family were present to pay their last respects. Interment took place in the Roland cemetery.
Jorgine Staalson was born January 16, 1863, in Stavanger, Norway, where she grew to womanhood and where she was united in marriage to Ole A. Helleison. To this unioin was born three children, two of whom died in childhood, the only remaining son is Henry Helleison of Forest City, who formerly lived at this place. Mr. Helleison died while the children were yet small and in 1903 Mrs. Helleison and her son came to this country, making their home at Story City for a short time, but later moving to Des Moines, where they lived for seven years. Ten year ago she was married to John O. Johnson of Quarry, where they have made their home since, and who is now left to mourn the death of a beloved wife. The deceased has been poorly for the last two years, having suffered with pernicious anemia. About two months ago, she went to Forest City to spend her remaining days at the home of her son.
She passed quietly away on Saturday evening, July 29th, 1922 and was 57 years, 6 months and 13 days old when the final summons came. The remains were brought to Roland as stated above and interment took place in the Roland cemetery.
