AGED FARMER CALLED

Sudden Death of L. T. Olson Wednesday Evening

Ludvig T. Olson died at his home, north of town, Wednesday evening, after a short illness of three days. Mr. Olson had not been in the best of health since Christmas, but has been to be up and around until Sunday, when he was taken seriously ill. Mr. Olson was 77 years of age at the time of his death.

Mr. Olson leaves to mourn his death, seven children, Otis Olson, Lena and Hannah Olson, who are staying at home, Miss Carrie Olson, a missionary in China, Mrs. Stockstad of San Rose, Cal. and Mrs. Walter Hermanson of Story City, and one sister, Mrs. Townswick of Story City.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from Salem church.

OBITUARY

Ludvig Olson

Ludvig Olson was born in Skaaneveg, Norway, August 12, 1844, and died February 16, 1921, being at the time of his death 76 years 6 months and 4 days old. He taught school for several years in Norway before coming to the United States in the year 1873.

In the same year he ws married to Kari Tungesvig. They took up farming three miles north of Roland where he lived until his death.

His wife died 14 years ago. Three daughters have also gone before, one of whom died in infancy. he is survived by six children, Mrs. Walter Hermanson, Mrs. Chr. Stokstad, Otis, Carrie, Lena and Hannah Olson, also two sisters, one living in Norway and one in Story City, who are left to mourn his death.

He was a member of Salems Lutheran Congregation.
