Death of Aged Lady

Mrs. Setna Tunis, age 80 years passed away last Saturday at the home of Mr. Andrew Rasmusson, near Randall.

Mrs. Tunis is a former resident of Roland, having lived here until last spring when she moved to the Rasmusson home. Mrs. Tunis is an aunt of Messrs. A. J. Olson and W. T. Wierson.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from Salems church. Interment took place in the Roland Cemetery.

Obituary

Mrs. Stena Tunes was born in Norway on August 10, 1840, and died on November 13, 1920, at the home of her nephew, Andrew Rasmusson, near Randall, reaching the ripe old age of 80 years.

In 1882, together with her husband, she emigrated to this country, settling first at Roland. A year later they moved to Chicago, where she continued to reside up to the time of her husband's death in 1910. In the year she returned to Roland and made this place her home until last winter, when she moved to the home of her nephew, Andrew Rasmusson near Randall.

Mrs. Tunes is survived by two brothers, who are residents of Norway, two nephews, A. J. Olson and Ole Severeid of this place and Andrew Rasmusson of near Randall, and one niece, Mrs. W. T. Wierson, with whom she made her home a great deal of the time she lived here.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 16, from Salems Church, Rev. Sandven and Rev. Paulsrud officiating. Internment took place in the Roland cemetery.
