OBITUARY

MRS. ANGELINA SMAY.
Died at Galesbury Illinois.

Angelina Rosemond Stogzell was born June 4, 1830 at Indianapolis, Ind. She was married when twenty years of age to Joseph Smay and they lived for the most part in Richland township, Story county, until the death of Mr. Smay. Nine children were born to them of whom four survive their parents: Mrs. Dora Buffington of Zearing, Homer Smay of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Maggie Wray of Fresno, Calif., and Elmer Smay of Nevada with whom she had made her home for some time. She died at Galesburg, Ill., Friday, June 16th and her funeral was held on Tuesday June 22nd from the home of her son Elmer Smay of Nevada, conducted by Rev. Shirk pastor of the Lutheran church of which Mrs. Smay had been a life long member. Besides the sons and daughters names, she leaves eight grand children and three great-grand children.
