Funeral Services for Orlando Osborn Held Tuesday

Maxwell, Dec. 31--Funeral services for Orlando Osborn, 74, retired farmer of the Maxwell community who died on Sunday, Dec. 21 in the Evangelical Deaconess hospital at Marshalltown after a months illness, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church with the pastor the Rev. C. R. Fitz officiating. Burial was made in the Peoria cemetery south of Maxwell.

Surviving are his widow, Rose and one son John, of Maxwell.

Mrs. Osborn farmed 2 1/2 miles south of town for many years before moving to Maxwell where he had been a resident for twelve years.
