OBITUARY OF FOREST HUFF

Lad Was Taken Away Suddenly In Accident.

Little Forest Huff, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Huff, began his early pilgrimage, November 15, 1913, and closed his life's journey in the earthly home of his parents, Saturday P. M. at ten o'clock, July 21st, age 3 years, 8 months and 6 days.

Forrest was well and happy Saturday morning. He ate his breakfast with his two little brothers and started with them to the field, a short distance from the house, where the father was cutting oats. There, from the edge of the field, they intended to view the big binder as it made its rounds, but in crossing the pasture Forrest was struck by a running horse and his little body to badly injured as to make all effort to save his life by the best human skill in vain.

His life, which closed so beautifully was one of rare beauty, like a beautiful picture or an exquisite piece of statuary--to touch it is to mar it.

Again death has destroyed a wonderful organization and broken up a co-partnership between body, soul and spirit, and in so doing has separated from us a living form and a bright loving presence.

Through the gateway of death his little spirit has ascended to God who gave it and is a full sharer of glorified bliss in heaven, and is in full possession of eternal life.

Forrest leave to mourn for him a father, mother, two little brothers Harold and Glenn, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Barker and Mr. and Mrs. P. Stemler, uncle, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

We cannot think of him as dead,
Who lives with us no more;
Along the path of life we tread
He is but gone before.
Ours are they by an ownership,
Nor time, nor death can free;
For God hath given to love to keep
Its own eternally.
