FUNERAL FOR MRS. WEEKS

Services Held at Bethlehem Church on Sunday.

Slater, June 13--The funeral services fro Mrs. Henry Weeks were held at the Bethlehem church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. The services were in charge of her pastor, Rev. E. Duea assisted by Rev. H. O. Bjorlie of Fairbault, Minn., and Rev. P. Bulard of Cambridge. Two special number were given by the choir a duet "It Was For Me," by Miss Ella Maland and Mrs. O. T. Richardson and a solo "Den Store Hirde Flok" by Mrs. M. S. Heggen. The floral offerings were unusually beautiful and numerous. The deceased passed away at the hospital at Ames last Thursday from burns received from a kerosene explosion. She had been an active worker in the church and at present was president of the North Bethlehem Ladies Aid, and had materially helped the children of the Deaf and Dumb school at Fairbault, Minn. She is survived by her husband and two adopted children, Stella and Orville also he father, L. O. Larson of Huxley, sisters, Misses Mary and Carrie and brothers, Lewis, Andrew, Henry, Oscar and Ole all present at the services. The pall bearers were four of brothers and Oliver and Weir Weeks. Interment was made in the Bethlehem cemetery. Among the relatives from out of town who were present were Miss Sadie Weeks of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Lee of Cambridge.
