Jim Green Buried at Cambridge Today

Cambridge, Feb. 18--J. B. Green, 70, longtime resident of this community, died a the Iowa hospital in Iowa City Tuesday night at 6:30. The body was brought back to Cambridge Wednesday and funeral services were held this afternoon at the Cooper Funeral parlors, after which interment was in the Cambridge cemetery.

"Jim" Green was a resident of Cambridge for many years and had a wide acquaintance. Engaged in various lines of business, he served for some time as postmaster and of late had been mail carrier between the local postoffice and the railway stations.

For many years Mr. and Mrs. Green conducted what was known as Green's hotel in Cambridge.

He leaves besides his wife, three sons and one sister. The sons are Bernice Green of Story City and George and Kermit Green at home. The sister is Mrs. Bryant, who lives in northern Michigan.
