Kathryn Donnelly of Colo is dead at the age of 100
One hundred year old Miss Kathryn Donnelly of Colo died Saturday at the Story County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colo, with Father Cecil McSweeney of the St. Anthony Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery, Colo.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday evening at Brouhard's Funeral Home in Zearing.
Born on Jan. 13, 1872 at Epworth, she spent most of her life in the Colo community.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholis Donnelly, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Mary McCoy of Colo, Mrs. Margaret Templeton of Lytton, Mrs. Anna Rose of Grange, Ill., Ed Blink of Marshalltown, Paul Allen, Indianola, who made his home with Miss Donnelly and several nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, Illinois, Louisiana and Iowa.
