Angela M. Andrew, 43 of Lago Vista, Texas passed away August 30, 2019 at Christopher House in Austin, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. Angie was born December 19, 1975 in Story City, IA and graduated from Roland Story High School in 1994. Angie married John Andrew on June 2, 2006. Angie decided to be a stay-at-home Mom to her beautiful daughter, Emerson. Emerson was the joy of her life.

A special "Thank You" goes out to the Christopher House for their loving care during her final days, and to the Ramsey Funeral Home for their compassion towards our family.

Angie is survived by her husband of 13 years; daughter, Emerson; parents: Arlen and Lurene (Caruth) Oakland of Ankeny, IA; sister, Jackie Fogg (Ron) of Pleasant Hill, IA; grandmother, Doris Caruth of Stratford, IA; and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Angie is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Laverne Caruth and Henry Oakland; grandmother, Phyllis Oakland; uncle, Brian Caruth; father-in-law, Richard (Dick) Andrew; and sister-in-law, Suzanne Peter.

A Celebration of Angie’s life will be held at 4:00 pm on September 27th at the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, Iowa.
