Kimberley Sue Corbin, 51, of Maxwell, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at MercyOne in Des Moines.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28 at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (422 First Street) in Maxwell with burial to follow at the Maxwell Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Kim was born March 17, 1968, the daughter of Virgil Wayne and Ellen Faye (Golly) Corbin. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1986 and enjoyed collecting Tweety Bird keepsakes and listening to classic rock and roll. Kim owned Kim’s Corner in Maxwell and had worked at Storytime Daycare. She had a great sense of humor, loved to spend time with her family and was looking forward to becoming a grandma in March of 2020.

Kim is survived by her son, Jacob Ball (Stacy Finch) of Kellogg, and her grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepdad, Leonard Golly; her brother, Ed Corbin and a nephew, Andrew Corbin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Kim.

Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
