GEORGE FORD DEAD AT DULUTH

ONE OF NEVADA'S SONS MEETS SUDDEN DEATH AFTER YEARS OF SERVICE ON G. N. RAILROAD

George Ford, son of Patrick Ford of this city, who for years has been in the employ of the Great Northern Railroad as an engineer, died at Duluth yesterday suddenly it is supposed as the telegram received at his home here state that "George Ford is dead" the wire being signed by the railroad people at the Minnesota city.

It is presumed he was killed in an accident as a letter was received from him by his sister just a few days ago in which he gave no intimation of ill health.

Mr. Ford's brother Charles accompanied by Jay G. Dutton left last night for Duluth to take charge of his remains and personal property and the body will be brought to Nevada his boyhood home for interment.

Mr. Ford was a bachelor and leaves besides his father, four brothers and two sisters. His brothers are Charles of Nevada, Frank of Chicago, John of Trinidad, Col., and William of Fremont, Neb. His sisters, Agnes of this city and Mrs. Annie Maher of Chicago.

Mr. Ford is well known here as he made many visits to his father every year and he also is well remembered by the older people with whom he attended school. He was considered on the of the ablest engineers of the Great Northern system and has for some time been in charge of their crack train operating between Minneapolis and Duluth.
