Many Attended Saveraid Funeral

Huxley, Oct. 24--Among those from here who attended the funeral services for Margaret Saveraid held in Des Moines Monday afternoon, Oct. 21 were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Berhow and Lowell, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Sheldahl and Ramona, Mrs. Josie Saveraid, Joye and Joyce, Palmer Saveraid, Mrs. Wier Ritland, Mrs. A. O. Wenos and the Misses Rose and Ella Heggen.

Margaret Saveraid was born near Huxley, November 19, 1898 and passed away at Clarinda on Friday, Oct. 18, 1935. She was ill for the past several years. Funeral services were held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Saveraid in Des Moines at one o'clock and at two o'clock from Central Lutheran church.

Rev. H. E. Rasmussen preached the sermon. Two vpcal solos, "Den Store Hvide Flok Vi Se" and "Face to Face" were sung by Mrs. L. S. Kloster of Des Moines and a solo "No Night There" by Jesse Olson of Jewell.

Interment was in the cemetery on half mile south of Slater.

Those surviving her are: her parents, two brothers, John and Torry, and six sister, Ann, Hilda, Theressa, Eva and Hazel, all of Des Moines and Judith (Mrs. Magnus Johnson) who lives in Canada. All were present at the funeral except the sister from Canada.
