Final Rites Conducted For Constance Neale

COLLINS -- Funeral services for Constance Aileen Neale, who passed away at Iowa City Sunday night, December 28, were conducted from Collins Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, December 31, at two o'clock with Rev. Louis H. Joslin, officiating.

Soloists were Mrs. Richard Holland, and Mrs. Don Pointer, accompanied by Mrs. Thayer Derby.

Mrs. Wayne Laughlin and Miss Joyce Tomlinson cared for the floral offerings.

Casket bearers were Richard Cory, Gordon Holland, Robert Johnson, Robert McBride, Lane Rice and Robert Titus.

Constance Aileen Neale, the daughter of William C. and Nellie Neale was born on January 3, 1932, at Collins and departed this life at the University of Iowa hospital, Iowa City, on Sunday night, December 28, 1952, at the age of 20 yeas, 11 months and 25 days.

Connie had suffered a prolonged illness many time in her brief residence on earth, but maintained a patient and loving manner, even when her suffering was serious. She loved children and was loved by them in return. She united with the Collins Methodist church a number of year ago, and when her health permitted, took an active part in the Youth Fellowship, and in worthwhile activities.

She graduated from the Collins High School in 1950, and lived her entire life in Collins.

She was employed for a brief period at the Donnelley corporation in Nevada, and at Younkers store in Ames.

There remains to mourn her passing, besides her father, mother, brothers and sisters as follows: Robert Neale, Washington, D. C., Wilfred, San Pablo, Calif.; Doris Gilley, Washington, D. C.; Isabel Smith, Collins; Dorothy Conley, Ames; Nora Holsinger, Collins, and Donald, New York City, N. Y. Also 13 nieces and nephews and one grandniece.
