Jacob Jacobson Gilbert Pioneer Dies Wednesday Noon

Story City, Sept. 30--INS--Jacob S. Jacobson, 76, long time resident of the Gilbert neighborhood, died at the Story City hospital, where he had spent the past year, Wednesday at 12:45 p. m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2 p. m., at the Gilbert Lutheran church with Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Burial will be in the South St. Petri cemetery, north of Gilbert.

He is survived by his wife, who is also a patient at the hospital; sons Clarence, Henry J. and Dan, all of near Gilbert; a brother Dan H. Jacobson of Gilbert and sister Mrs. O. W. Briley of Ames.

Mr. Jacobson was a pioneer resident of the Gilbert community and leaves a wide circle of friends who join with members of the family in mourning his passing.
